Billerica Scholarship Committee

The mission of the Foundation shall be to expand access to higher education for students residing within the Town of Billerica in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by providing scholarship opportunities.

We organize and fundraise for the sole purpose of providing scholarships to the residents of Billerica. As a community group, we award over $150,000 annually to deserving students. All students must apply on our website. Applicants open annually on March 1st and close generally three weeks after opening. You can reach out to us or guidance if you need help with the application process. 

Up to date information about us and our fundraisers are posted on our website and social media accounts. New members and volunteers are always welcome. Meetings are the first Wednesday evening of every month. Check out our website for more information on who we are and how to contact us. Below are some of the fundraisers we run annually.   

Trivia Night: Held every February, our largest and greatest fundraiser of them all, don’t miss this one!

Class of Raffle:  In April of each year elementary school students sell raffle tickets to raise money for their class. The money is saved and interest compounded until their year of graduation. 

Calendars: Town calendars with school schedules and important town dates, sold in late summer, early fall.

Replicas: Wooden replicas of our town’s schools and historic buildings, sold throughout the year.

Dine to Donate: Various restaurants host an evening of dining to benefit BSF.
