- The Major Offices are: Select Board 2 members, Planning Board three members, School Committee two members (all three-year terms) and one member for a five-year term on the Housing Authority.
- Each Precinct has seven openings for three-year terms.
- Openings for Unexpired Two-Year terms are in Precincts 3, 4, 6, 10 and 12
- Openings for Unexpired One-Year terms are in Precincts 3, 4, 5, 8,10, 11 and 12.
- Papers are due back Tuesday, February 18 by 5:00 PM.

Duties of the Office
In Billerica, the Town Clerk is elected into office. Some of the duties of the office include:
- Recording of all births, deaths, and marriages, and issuing certified copies of same
- Taking of marriage intentions
- Issuing dog licenses
- Fuel Storage Registrations
- Record all official town documents
- Keeper of the town seal
- Taking and keeping all town meeting records
- Responsibility for all elections.
Other such duties as prescribed by Massachusetts General Laws, the Town Charter, and the general laws of the town.

t is the policy of the Town of Billerica to conform and comply with all laws and regulations regarding public records. Applicable laws and regulations include, but are not limited to MGL Chapters 7 and 66 as amended by Chapter 121 of the Acts of 2016 and 950 CMR 21 as enacted by the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth.
Guidelines to assist persons seeking access to Public Records in the custody of the Town of Billerica.
Effective January 1, 2017, the Massachusetts Public Records Law, G.L.Chapter 66 and Chapter 4§7 (26) provides that a municipality must, within 10 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays), respond to a request for records by providing access to or a copy of such records, or explaining any delay or denial.
In order to assist the public with accessing public records, the following guidelines are provided: Requests may be made Monday thru Friday during regular business hours which are 8:30am to 4:00pm. Requests for public records should be directed to the Records Access officers.
